Somer Dive Center offers you all PADI Dive Courses from Discover Scuba Diver (DSD) until becoming a Divemaster. Also if you were not diving for a quite long time no problem, you can do a ReActivate Program from PADI with us and still enjoy the dive sites as usual.

DISCOVER SCUBA DIVER

Never dived before? But you are curious how it would be and what to see down there? Or you just have not enough time to do your certification? No problem at all! There for is the Discover Scuba Diver Training. You’ll get a little instructions about diving from your Instructor. The most important rules, basics about the equipment and already some skills you’ll learn. It is as well a full day trip where you go out for 2 dives to the Komodo National Park.

On the way out to the Park the Instructor explain you everything what you need to know and already on the first dive site you’ll will practice some basic safety skills. Afterwards you will go and explore the beauty underwater life. Don’t worry, your Instructor will be always by your side. Easy dive sites but with the guaranty to see plenty of cool stuff and for the very first time breathing underwater, Komodo is exactly the place to give it a try!

OPEN WATER DIVER

With the Open Water Course you’ll get your first certification as a diver. You will learn everything about diving; theory and practicing all the skills in confined and open water and how to be a responsible and safe diver. This course takes 3 days where you’ll learn intensive together with your Instructor and your dive buddies.

You’ll learn with the newest version of the Open Water Diver Manual your theory on day 1 (also available as e-learning), go to confined water for learning the skills and on day 2 and 3 you gonna go already out in the KNP. In open water you’ll be practice all skills again and later you’ll be able to master everything in and last but not least after all exams are done at the end of this 3 days you’ll become your Open Water Certification which allows you to go down to 18m.

OPEN WATER DIVER

With the Open Water Course you’ll get your first certification as a diver.   • Underwater Navigation Dive

RESCUE DIVER

Learn how to react in an unlikely event of a emergency situation. Gain more confidence as well learn to recognise some typical dive problems at sea. This Course shows you all about safety and well being for you and others. You will practice in 2 days different scenarios underwater and on the surface.

Starts with most common small problems and goes up to how to set up and use specific emergency equipment. Before you need to have already a valid Emergency First Responder Certification. If not we can add one day more and learn on the first day everything about an Emergency First Responder to cover all the basic knowledge which you need in advance.
