OUR STORY

Somer Dive Komodo is a PADI Dive Center in the heart of Labuan Bajo, the entrance for the famous Komodo National Park a World Heritage Site.

 

The Dive Center is always focused to improve their best. To make a trip to the Komodo National Park as a save, enjoyable and of course unforgettable experience. All Dive guides and Instructors are PADI professionals in an active status. We are working in a multi-ethnicital team to make all of our clients from all around the world happy.

ABOUT US

KOMODO NATIONAL PARK

The Komodo National Park is located within the Lesser Sumba Islands. More detailed it’s located on the west coastal line of Flores Island. The park includes the three larger Islands of Komodo, Padar, Rinca and 26 smaller islands. Since 1991 KNP is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is not only the home of the world largest lizards, the Komodo Dragons, it is also well knowing for one of the best spots in the World to explore underwater. This because it is a part of the Coral Triangle and, which contains some of the richest marine biodiversity on Earth.

Somer Dive Center offers you all PADI Dive Courses from Discover Scuba Diver (DSD) until becoming a Divemaster. Also if you were not diving for a quite long time no problem, you can do a ReActivate Program from PADI with us and still enjoy the dive sites as usual.

DAILY DIVE TRIP

Somer Dive Center offers you daily dive trips with our specious day boat; Lumba-Lumba. A traditional phinisi wooden boat. We have one of the biggest and most comfortable boat in the town. The crew on the boat is highly motivated to give you the best service as well. You are in holiday, so enjoy and lean back. With around 9 knots we are cruising to the dive sites in the Komodo National Park

Located right now in Tanjung Bira, South of Sulawesi, were the most of the traditional phinisi boats are coming from. A team of local men is still busy and build our unique new Liveaboard. We can’t wait until we’re ready to stay on the boat and explore together with you the beauty of Indonesia.
We plan to set the sails for the first time; Beginning of 2021.
